Mufflers/Muffler Plates
Mufflers/muffler plates are used to dampen noise levels to a standard below OSHA permissible exposure limit for an 8-hour day- 90 dBA. Mufflers are available in aluminum and poly materials, each with their own dampening materials found inside the muffler which can be removed and cleaned for re-use. Muffler maintenance is critical so that escaping air exhaust can be released. Muffler clogging can create erratic pump performance.
